What is Deep Learning?

Deep learning is a subset of machine learning that uses artificial neural networks to analyze large and complex data. Inspired by how the human brain works, deep learning involves multiple layers of algorithms (hence “deep”) that process information at different levels. It is widely used in image recognition, natural language processing, speech recognition, and recommendation systems. 

Unlike traditional machine learning, deep learning models can automatically identify patterns without much human intervention, provided they are trained with vast amounts of data. 

Applications include self-driving cars, chatbots, fraud detection, and even personalized marketing strategies.
