However, product selling comes later, the challenge for online furniture stores is to make consumers imagine, inspire them, and acquire their interests.
Here visual marketing involving UGC plays an important role in attracting, engaging, and converting users when shopping online.

The quest to find a solution to these challenges led them to Shoppable Instagram & UGC galleries by Tagshop.
Eureka Street came across Tagshop during their research for Shoppable galleries featuring user-generated content and an Instagram feed.

With Tagshop, Eureka Street furniture created two different shoppable galleries for their online store. In the first one, they curated their brand Instagram feed, made it shoppable, and featured it as a Shoppable Instagram feed on their e-commerce website homepage.
Whereas, for the second gallery, they curated user-generated posts from Instagram using hashtags & mentions. Further, they tagged products to the UGC posts and then published this Shoppable UGC gallery as a new landing page called “Inspiration”.
On the homepage they added Shoppable UGC and on their landing page "Get Inspired" which makes it a mix of UGC and Instagram Feed.
Inspiration gallery and Homepage gallery provided a more comprehensive and realistic view of a product than the product descriptions and images provided by the brand. This helped online shoppers get a better sense of what the product looks like, how it works, and how it may fit into their lives.
Eureka Street Furniture organized a lucky draw where customers had a chance of winning $500 by getting featured on their Inspiration wall.
The homepage Instagram shoppable feed is connected to the social Shopping UGC Inspiration gallery.
Since the integration of Shoppable Instagram & UGC galleries, Eureka Street has experienced over 10,000 monthly clicks on shoppable posts/CTAs, 500K views on the Homepage gallery, and an increase of 35% in average order value.
Overall both the shoppable images galleries collectively received 15% more conversions and 78% more positive response from their customers. The conversion rate from Shoppable UGC “Inspiration Gallery” is 12% which is way higher than the industry average.
